rantum.xyz is published by Rantum Studio, a sole practice run by Andrew Maury in San Mateo, California. Using the site means accepting what follows. It is short because the site does little: it publishes writing, and it describes work you can hire.
What this site is not
Nothing published here is investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. The case studies and research pages measure how systems behaved over a stated window. A measurement of the past is not a forecast, and a venue scoring well in one sample can score badly in the next.
Reading this site does not create a consulting relationship, a client relationship or any duty of care. Those begin only with a signed engagement agreement, and that agreement governs the work rather than this page.
The figures
Figures on this site are measurements from a named source over a named window, and each one is published with enough detail to be re-derived. They can still be wrong: upstream data can change under us, a source can go dark mid-sample, and a method can turn out to have a flaw. Where that has happened we correct the page and say what changed rather than edit it quietly. If you are going to rely on a number here for something that matters, re-run it against the source we name.
Products described on this site, including ClearTrace and AddressIntel, have their own terms on their own domains, and those terms govern their use.
Third-party names
Company, protocol and product names are used for identification and comparison. Their marks belong to their owners, and naming a venue in a measurement implies no affiliation with it or endorsement by it. Named past clients and employers are stated as fact and are verifiable. No testimonial, quotation or endorsement on this site is invented: every quote is attributed to a named, dated, linked source, and any third party quoted is quoted from something they published.
What you may do with it
You may read, quote and cite this site. Quote accurately, keep the window and the sample size attached to any figure you lift, and link back to the page you took it from. Do not republish a page in full, and do not present our measurements as your own.
Scraping for the purpose of training a model or rebuilding the site elsewhere is not permitted. Machine readers looking for a summary should use llms.txt, which exists for exactly that.
